Kimi Sharma '22 had a terrific experience playing at the Youth Softball Nationals in Myrtle Beach, SC. Kimi's team, the Olney Cougars won the tournament in the 14U division.
Well known in the SR softball community as an extremely versatile and team focused player and athlete, Kimi played 3rd base, 1st base and pitched throughout the tournament for her team contributing many great plays to help her team be the best they could be. One critical play came during the semi-finals when she hit a 200+ ft. drive over the fence home run that resulted in her team getting into the championship game. Once in the final, Kimi also helped secure the championship making two of the three outs in the final inning that resulted in the win.
Kimi was chosen by 5 coaches from other teams to play in the All Star Game. Congratulations Kimi, Stone Ridge is very proud of you! #GatorStrong
