Highlight: In a game that felt a little like an exhibition, with only one Sophomore (Sam Crane) and 7 freshmen against a very good team from SCDS (which beat STAB the previous night by 10 points), the undersized Gators played with the hearts of warriors. Battling against the experience and size of SCDS's wing players and their center, the Gators went into the lockeroom at halftime down 32-15. The second half showed great promise for the Gators as they outscored SCDS 24-17 and played fantastic defense, led by the speedy trio of Grace Muldoon, Caroline Conaghan, and Julia Carr. Lilly Gardiner poured in 8 points with her attack of the rim.
Gator of the Game: Katie Hollensteiner stretched the floor, nailing 4 threes and accounting for 16 pts.
