Genevieve DiBari '18 is already considered one of the best cross country and track & field athletes in SR history. For three consecutive years, as a multi-sport student-athlete, she has continued to break personal records. However, if you know her, you quickly realize she is not satisfied. With each goal met, another more challenging one is set. In July, Genevieve competed in the USATF National Junior Olympic Championships in Kansas. According to Genevieve, the trip was a fun, exciting, and extremely successful as she took home some medals, as well as garnered All-American status in both the 1500m and 3000m races. In the 150 m, Genevieve ran a personal record in the preliminaries to qualify for finals. In the finals, she further dropped time, sprinting past 4 runners on the straight-away to finish in 4th place with a time of 4:51.2 (converts to a 5:13 mile). The day before, Genevieve finished 4th in the 3000 meter in a PR time of 10:49.9. Heading into her final year of wearing the Blue & Gold, all indications are that Genevieve will once again reach new heights. Congratulations to Genevieve! #GatorStrong
